A Republican cancer has been eating away at truth and demacracy for many years. Now with Trump’s election it has fully metastasized into a hopeless mess. As they say, all good things must come to an end.

For those folks who voted for Trump because they wanted to see the country go in a different direction, it reminds me of a young tennis pro some years back.

Just after reaching number one in the world, he fired his coach. When asked why he fired his coach the cocky young player said he just wanted to go in a different direction. He did, straight down and never to be heard from again after a dismal year.

And thus it is that after President Obama and the Democrats pulled the country, once again, out of a Republican induced economic hole, the fickle among us want to see the country go in a different direction. It’s not hard, with reckless Trump at the helm, to see where that direction will lead.
