All the Evil and corruption in the world can’t override the tribal impulse of the typical Trump supporter who has no idea that they are prisoners of their hardwired xenophobia. Had they only read a few serious books or been exposed to some real education beyond the 8th grade or expanded their awareness of the world a little beyond their daily routine, they might have had a chance to rise above their base conditioning, but they didn’t and now they are stuck in far-out Trump land.

Dumbness is certainly thee bigest ofwith democracy. It makes simple folk vulnerable to petty con men like Trump. Fortunately each generation gets a little smarter, but I wonder if it’s happing fast enough to save us from a badly corrupted Republican party. Most of the smart folks of integrity have either left the GOP or are about to bail from that swamp of inequity
