American has always represented the best and the worst of humanity, meaning it is perfectly in sync with the law of probability balance. Indeed, it was a country formed by practical idealist on one hand and slavery holders on the other. It’s ideals are often great and its practices horrendous, making for some wild debates as to its basic good or evil. But of course since virtually everyone like to believe that their country is special, you see a ton of rationalizing going on.
