And then there are those who don’t see White privilege at all, as you know. Every time these kinds of Whites see a non White do well in education or in a career they feel like something has been stolen from them. Moreover, when they see non Whites succeed it reinforces a sense of failure in themselves, so to cover their sham they cry the system is rigged — you, know all this government affirmative action stuff, and then they start looking to join their local Klan club or searching for a Donald Trump to vote for. The Donald may be a mobster, but at least they see him (wrongly so) as their mob boss.
