Capitalism was never designed for Joe Sixpack to thrive. That only temporally happed following the special post WWII conditions that gave the US a huge manufacturing advantage.

Capitalism was designed for smart people, not some dunderhead who runs off and generates a lot of economic liabilities (children) before he has even begun to master the ways of exploiting capitalism. Indeed, in a capitalistic system one is either an exploiter or the exploited. Just ask the Donald.
