Dear Laura, men have forever been trying to create a form of government that serves all the people. Unfortunately those types of systems that best serve the masses are too sophisticated for the masses to appreciate, thus they are easy marks for demagogues like a Donald Trump.

It all goes back to my pet theory of the ultimate law of the universe — probability balance.

Stars are born and stars die. Creation at some point in time is always offset by destruction. Good will always be offset by evil, peace by war, love by hate and finally liberty by despotism — Happy Thanksgiving.
