Donald Trump Is America’s First Pothole President
Every once in a while one of America’s metropolitan regions will develop a dangerous pothole in the middle of one of its key expressways. Those outside the area and unfamiliar with the hazard are at considerable risk of damage to their vehicle or worse, being thrown into an injurious or life threatening accident. But for daily commuters they quickly learn how to anticipate and avoid the menace.
Trump has become something of a dangerous pothole in the heart of the American government. He can be extremely treacherous to the unwary, but soon both American and foreign governmental operative learn how to anticipate and avoid his jeopardies.
The chief peril to America that our lazy, lying, know-nothing president presents to the country is that it leaves the nation leaderless. Beyond that other branches of the government out side of the executive are learning how to make the country somehow function anyway. Just as one who losses one’s hearing or sight learns how to lean more heavily on one’s remaining senses.
Fortunately for the country and the world the Donald’s notoriously short attention span prevents him for pursuing his many half-baked, reality TV inspired notions too far. Though his perchance for loving to be surrounded by chaos as a smokescreen for hiding his general stupidity and incompetence does at times present serious problems for the nation’s security.
How long it may take to fix this Trumpian cavity is anyone’s guess at the moment. It mainly comes down to what special counsel Robert Mueller finds and how the midterm elections unfold. For the time being the survival of humanity all comes down to how well those of goodwill and ability manage to circumvent the perils of the pothole in the White House.
