God Fearing Members Of The Philadelphia Eagles Disinvited To White House

The most embarrassing and despised person ever to stumble into the White House, thinking he is also the supreme authority on patriotism, has disinvited the Super Bowl Champs

President Trump has disinvited the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles from their planned visit Tuesday to the White House. The invitation was canceled over what Trump says is a disagreement on standing during the national anthem. In response, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said Mr. Trump’s decision “only proves that our president is not a true patriot, but a fragile egomaniac.”

Mr. Trump issued a statement Monday evening saying the full NFL team would not be coming after several players indicated they wouldn’t participate.

“They disagree with their president because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country,” the statement said.

Now to be fair to the “president,” when only ten members of a championship team have the stomach to show up to your party, that’s quite a slap in the face. So Trump being Trump, and of course not wishing to miss an opportunity to make cheap political points with his White Base (most of the team is black), has of course waved his homemade flag of patriotism. One group is exercising its sacred American right to protest against injustice, the other person is exhibiting his ignorance of one of the nation’s most idealistic values to do so. But then that’s just the Donald, as usual, being the disgusting Donald.
