Okay for all you folks who think Hillary’s sins are just as bad as the Donald’s, this bit of information should shatter your illusions. The bad guys always try to muddy the waters with the idea of a false equivalence. Their mantra is I may be bad but so is my opponent. In truth Hillary may be seriously flawed but her rival is a very real existential threat to our lives and our democracy. So if you don’t think this is Germany in America vintage 1933, think again.

Some of you may derive some sort of pleasure out of voting for Trump or a third party candidate as a protest vote. But, folks, if that is the case, you are playing with fire. Trump is not only rounding up his thug army. He is also virtually Putin’s Manchurian candidate.
After years of the hard right undermining the worth of government and the waste of Washington politics, the skids have been greased for a tough talking demagogue to turn American values upside-down. Historically democracies have fallen to despotism in a heartbeat. The hour of such a possibility is now upon us. Don’t let it happen. Rise above your tribal impulses and put the hate-mongers back in their cage before it’s too late.
