Here's the thing with Democrats vs. Trump and the Republicans. The Democrats think that by giving the nation things that will benefit most people like cheaper drug prices and something good for environment the voters will love them. Yes, maybe, but not for long.

Remeber how excited you would become with Christmas presents, but a few weeks later most of the thrill had passed away, no big deal.

Trump and friends on the other hand project someone or something to hate and fear, like Mexicans or whatever. Now hate and fear are emotions with saying power. They don't quickly fade away.

Thus, alas, these emotions are the most unifying elements in politiics, not the good things we actually need, and Trump is the master of hate and destruction, and thus he is ill-rationally loved
