Hillary was a terrible candidate and Trump had no poltical record to attack. There is, alas, still a way Trump can win this time, but impeachment would have no effect one way or the other. He could win with a combination of voter suppression, Russian hackings of the various voting systems, and worst of all some third party liberal sounding candidate. Meaning that if Bernie wanted to be a real prick he would run as a third party. So they better treat him kindly.

Personally I would love to see an impeachment — with all those Trump officials getting raked over the coals — wonderful entertainment. The government, however, needs to be more than pro Trump or anti Trump entertainment.
