However, I do see a bit of naivety in this Idea that somehow a better world can be built. It is like those who say just get rid of all the old politicians and replace them with new ones. You would still end up with the same mix of the good bad and indifferent.

Human existence rides along the ego survival mechanism, meaning that the smartest most aggressive ones will always end up as the dominant individual and group. No amountt of planning or wishful thinking will alter that dynamic.
