I don’t think, Linda, these guys are so naive as to think that even if you believe in God that he she or it takes sides. It is just more of a personal reassurance thing. I often wished I could be a person of faith but even as a child religion made no sense to me.

It seemed to me like just another political tool to get folks to stay in line, however, I have never doubted its power to drive folks to accomplish near impossible tasks.
