I had an english teacher in tech school once who did not teach anything specifically political, but she did teach from a book, I think it was entitled, Guides To Straight Thinking. It basically expose false analysis arguments.

I can never seem to remember the list of false arguments cold, yet when I hear one used I immediately recognize it as a phony premise. I loved that teach, though she did flunk be out French.
