I have read, Rand, some excellent biographies of Hitler, and I would say that the main difference starting in life with Hitler and Trump is much more economic than mindset. Hitler came from modest means and Trump of course from well to do.

Both were careless, ruthless, sadistic bullies at heart. And both suffered, though perhaps in different ways, from the death of a brother, while laboring under a stern, demanding father and weak mother.

Moreover, both were furious ego maniacs when they didn’t get their way, especially when they arrived at positions of immense power. And of course both know how to exploit the dark side of the human spirt with cunning.

Both are self-loathing personalities, thus all the overcompensating and grandiose self praise. And the really scary part is that this type usually ends up on a suicide mission that takes millions with them. Think of John Bolton as Trump’s new wingman in that regard — bombs way North Korea and Iran.
