I hear you on the environment facts. But there is such a natural phenomena as universal balance. At some point in time creation is always offset by destruction--In other words balance. There is nothing previous geberations could have done to the good side that would not have caused a negative balancing offset.

Stars are born and stars die. It's the law of the universe and we humans are not immune to it.
