I love cool technology and loath superstitious nonsense, but there is a certain law of the universe that limits everything — the law of what I like to call probability balance.

Stars are born and stars die. At some point in time creation is always offset by destruction — peace is offset by war and love by hate and so on.

Therefore there will likely soon come a time when all of man’s wonders will be offset, most like by his thousands of nukes just waiting their time.
