I was very perplexed and disappointed by whatever it was that Senator McCain was attempting to convey by his, what looked like an, extended senior moment. McCain can be as partisan as they come, but usually at crunch time he comes through for the good of the country.

In this garbled mess the Senator just seemed to be trying to make a very muddy attempt at conflating two entirely different situations in oder to score some fashion of partisan points — very strange.

McCain may not have liked Comey’s judgement about the Clinton investigation once it was concluded, but that has nothing to do with the Trump administration investigation that still has a long way to go. In others words he keep insisting on asking a bizarre question, how could you possibly stop with the critical Clinton investigation while you were continuing with the Trump administration investigation as if the two were siamese twins.
