If the American people want to build up the nation for the good of all its citizens here is what must happen. Currently the nation is run primarily for the benefit of the super wealthy one percent — the greedy one percent. (There is actually a handful of super generous rich.)

These greedy rich are able to pull this off because their mostly Republican shills and right wing media flunkies have become very good at firing up those of xenophobic tendencies, not against the rich who are screwing them blind — like MAGA man — but against minorities, causing tribally impulsive old Whites to vote against their own best interest and that of the country.

But the midterm elections seem to indicate a political shift for the better as it is now the young, women and minorities that are pouring into government. If this becomes a sustainable trend then America will truly become a land governed by and for the people.
