If the Republicans could have come up with a better plan they would have offered it years ago. The problem of course is there are no major changes that can be made to make it better. Sure there is pleanty around the edges to improve it, but then it’s still that horrible anti American thing that Republicans have been ranting against for years because they didn’t want to see Obama succeed at anything. So now they have boxed themselves in with their know-nothing base, spinning in circles with no good place to land.

The best that they can possibly do is fake it — just make a few superficial changes and call it Trump one, or some other asshole name.
