I’m shocked to learn that the Average American reads a book a week. I thought I was a way above average reader and I don’t come close to a book a week. Well, then, again, I seldom read novels. I mostly read history, politics and anything that deals with the human condition — heavy stuff. But, still, I thought most folks upon graduation were lucky if they picked up a news paper.
