Impeachment isn’t the critical issue here. Getting rid of Trump is the only issue of worth. With the Senate poised to sit on its hands were the House Democrats to impeach the president, no time for getting rid of the White House moron will have been gained by an impeachment process. It takes too long.

Trump is already at the point whereby Mickey Mouse on the ballot would beat him handily in the next election. So now the job of those who want to preserve democracy is to do all in their power to limit the damage that Trump can unload upon the nation and the world.

Indeed impeachment is a process meant to prove to the public that a president is no good and or dangerous. We are already at that point waiting on the election process to do its job. Impeachment will gain us nothing more than an emotional high.
