In Joe’s case, yes! He is neither petty nor vindictive. If she were bold enough to publically embarrass him, she shouldn’t have been all that much afraid to politely explain the situation. Or better yet she could have sent him a private note a few days later.

You go to war with the bad guys like Trump and try to reason with the good guys like Joe, or is that asking too much of a strong women.
