In one respect Trump is merely a cruder version of what the Republican Party has been about for many a year now: forget about democracy just win baby. On the other hand this country has never before had in its most sensitive and important post such a certifiably sick minded and dangerous person. Billions of lives literally hang in the balance of a man that is hopelessly out of balance.
