Interesting. I find most folks are interested in what, not why. Personally. I always find learning difficult when why is not presented as a major factor.

For instance , I found math boring, until I began reading about the mathematicians themselves and why and how they came to work out their terms.

In other words I'm only inspired by how the major parts of life go together. The worst job possible for me would be working in the parts department of an auto dealership--boring!

I have no doubt that had I been raised by parents that were educators, things would have eventuated totally differently for me. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking?
