It Is Not Trump’s Steep Learning Curve That Is The Problem
You hear all this malarkey about giving a political neophyte like Trump time to come up to speed on what his job requires. That would be true of almost any other non-politician entering the White House except Donald John Trump.
Trump’s base limitation, flaws and personality disorders go way beyond a dearth of knowledge. We all know this, at least all rational folks who take our government and leadership seriously, which obviously excludes 40% of the electorate.
Trump’s main problem is that he has absolutely no reference point for truth. Thus any issue or article brought to his attention is as much about truth as any other. For the mega egocentric Trump truth is whatever he or someone convinces him (often wrongly so creating comic relief) is beneficial to his grossly inflated perception of himself.
Rational, unbiased Truth might as well be an unknown foreign language for him. As he has no interest in truth; he is reality blind. This obviously accounts for his endless business failures, though he does have a great ability to pass off these fiascos to other low information boobs as being rousingly great successes.
Another ability this cartoonish character possesses is in giving comedians and reporters endless material upon which to make a living. Trump’s follies are manna from heaven for them. In fact it’s all so entertaining that we must keep reminding ourselves that the job of leader of the free world is way too important to just be providing fodder that will help sell news papers and hype TV ratings. Trump is like the Ebola virus of politics. He needs to be isolated and stamped out in terms of being an influential leader.
