It is pointless to try and rationalize Trump’s idiotic pronouncements. Trump only wins by divide and conquer, so the more crap he put out to inflame our unfortunate tribal impulses the more he wins.

Thus, in a multicultural nation like America, Trump is a deadly poison that has us playing right into the hands of our country’s mortal enemies. The only possible way America survives and thrives is when its diverse parts strive to pull together. Of course this is swimming against the tide of the universal law of probability balance that says that creative good at some point in time will always be offset by destructive bad.

With Trump we are in one of those negative offset periods. The question is can we hang on enough until the balancing forces swing back in a positive direction?
