It is said that Trump has an 87% approval rating among Republicans. But of course politics is not only local but tribal as well. So with most NFL fans being working class Whites, I still worry that Trump has the power to unsettle the Eagles fan base against they're mostly Black heroes.

On the other hand, I’m hoping that in time a significant segment of Trump’s base will become bored with his boorish routines and drift away — maybe?
