Jason, I thank you for supporting me, but unfortunately I’m going to have disagree with you on this one. In 2008 President Obama had two disastrous choices. Average folks just can’t grasp how close the world came to a total economic collapse. We came literally within hours of a complete freeze up of the money system.

The choice was to ball out the banking system and allow Main Street to sink, or not bail out the banks and let Main Street literally starve. Had not the President worked to save the banks, ATM’s would have shut down, credit cards would have been worthless and no money transactions of any kind would have been possible. Nothing could have been bought on sold. To obtain food one would have either had to resort to stealing it or have it given to them.

Sure, the super rich would have found ways around the bottleneck, but it would have been pure chaos and panic for average folks. As one government agent quipped, we had the terrible choice to either reward the arsonists for burning down the house or see the entire city go up in flames. Not quite as straight forward as many believe.
