Last night, Allan, my wife and I took in a very uplifting movie (some might say sappy) — The Green Book. The message was clearly meant to be precisely opposite of Trump’s toxic message to the nation and the world.

The plot is simple. It is a 1962 road trip through the deep South in which two men of entirely different backgrounds (and colors), “the others,” come together in the best ways possible. Based on a true story of opposites who become life long friends.
