Look, this is no one’s fault. This is how the universe is configured. Good and creation are always in time offset by evil and destruction. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow, but the sooner you adjust to this reality the sooner it will stop driving you nuts.

Now I’m not for a second saying one should just throw one’s hands up in the air and stop hoping or trying for the best, just don’t go getting all bent out of shape when the inevitable negative offset pops up.

It might be a lousy hand we hold, but play it we must.
