What Bernie is calling for is democratic socialism, a balanced system of capitalism and socialism. Basically, he is trying to replace a predatory brand of capitalism with a healthy balanced economic system that works for all of society.

Sure the greedy right wing capitalist hate it, but certainly not all capitalist, like, say, Mike Bloomberg hate a balanced system, though Mike will never be so naive as to call socialism. The choice between capitalism and socialism isn’t a case of only one or the other, but rather a balanced blend of the two, of which Trump and his merry band of Republican fascists have no interest.
