Nothing new with the human condition here. We are hardly removed from many centuries of slavery and millions slaughtered in the last century. The mindset that allowed that isn’t going to evaporate over a couple of dozen decades. Indeed, the evils of tribal type fear imprinted on all of us and acted upon by the most primitive of us is, alas, the foundation of our existence.

There will always be a large slice of humanity eager to latch on to mad men demagogues the likes of Donald Trump. But for every trend there must be a counter trend. And so by that law of nature Trump world is about to be flushed.
