Now that corporate America and the super rich have bought their favorite type of government and dismissed their tax obligations, the nation’s infrastructure, both human and physical, is eroding away. Local communities are raising money to buy teachers school supplies. Dominos pizza has to volunteer to fix potholes. Police departments are woefully understaffed. NASA can’t afford rockets to restock the international space station, but rather have to hitch a ride on Russian rockets.

Meanwhile, the billions that the Republicans have borrowed to give away money to the super rich are eating up in interest a huge chunk of the federal revenue.

But of course once the Democrats regain power to clean up the GOP mess, Republicans will switch over to screaming about the evils of deficit spending. It seems that spending is only evil in the eyes of Republicans when it benefits average Americans.
