Of course the president’s support is stable. At least a third of the country is as ignorant of history, politics and science as the Donald. This makes the Donald practically their blood brother. And this is why the founding fathers were so leery about making America a full blown democracy, where a demagog such as Trump could mobilize the crazies on his behalf.
