Okay, Ryan, here’s the deal. The ultimate law of the universe is probability balance. This law says that creation and good will always be, at some point in time, offset by destruction and bad — stars are born and stars die.

As part of the universe we humans are subject to the same law — peace is offset by war, love by hate, Obama is replaced by Trump and so on.

In fact the means for destruction of all our marvelous technology is built into our technology, waiting patiently in thousands of silos around the globe and under the sea for the final offset of humankind. To think otherwise would have to be the mind of someone who is willing to bet against the house.
