One of the curses of humankind has always been the greed oozing out of vested interests — the vested interest of big oil, the military industrial complex, the insurance industry and the pharmaceutical monopoly.

Since the climate problem can’t be cured in the next quarter these massive formations of wealth don’t care. Most of these mammoth entities are controlled by old men, and they figure they’il be dead before they can’t themselves evade the problem.
