One of the greatest threats to humanity at this time, along with an instant nuclear wipeout and climate change, is over population. Somehow that factor, since the green revolution greatly eased food shortages, has gotten lost.

Overpopulation is forcing peoples of one land to overflow into peoples of other lands at unsustainable rates. This is aggravated of course by war, crime and global warming. Any income system that rewards for having more children can therefore produce a very dangerous effect on an already jammed planet.

I mean, the income for children would naturally be overseen by adults who may try to collect or have as many children as possible children simply for their own personal income advantage. Thus any government income plan needs to be tied to adult employment, which I highly favor.
