One thing, Jerry, I wish the responsible news media would wake up to the fact that Trump really doesn’t wants his wall built, and doesn’t want to cut a deal with Democrats on DACA. What he really wants is to keep alive in his base’s mind the notion that evil Democrats and those bad folks in Congress are keeping him from accomplishing these goals.

Indeed, he may keep acting like he is looking for a resolution on these issues but every time one looks possible, he finds a way to scuttle the fix.

He is going to keep this kabuki dancing going right through the 2018 and 2020 elections and the Russian probe if he can. It is all he has short of pushing the nuke button to save his backside by distraction.
