Paul Ryan is a nice guy version of Donald Trump, hardly less wrong about the issues and finding it easy to rationalize funding the rich at the expense of average Americans. Like most conservatives he is lost somewhere back in the nineteenth century. He may exhibit idealism, but it’s a very twisted form of idealism. The sort of idealism that’s always dropping the nation into some sort of economic calamity.
