Paul Ryan is an intellectual lightweight. He sat down one year as a young man and read a few books by Ayn Rand and decided that was all he needed to know about economics and politics. His is an extreme case of the old saying that “a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.”

Each time Ryan’s pet theories are tried out like Republican Governor Brownback did in Kansas they create a mess.

Ryan basically has to decide whether or not to back the country or Trump. But, alas, for him it makes no difference because either way he loses, so he might as well back the country.
