Personally I think Mueller played this very tricky situation perfectly. Where cases were a slam dunk he indicted and won convictions. In Trump’s case he sewed landmines all over the country that the clumsy, bragging Trump can’t possibly miss stumbling into and blowing himself up.

I mean it’s rather counter productive to panic a crazy man with his fingure on the trigger of world destruction. Just let him wakeup one morning and find himself safely ensconced in a straight jacket from which he can do no harm.

Sure, it’s not as quick, dramatic or emotionally satisfying, but at least we get a chance to live and savor Trump’s crying from jail, a much better deal for humanity in the end.
