Prospects For A Trump Third Party Are Looking Brighter By The Day

Some believe that D. J. Trump’s ultimate goal with his mantra that the election is rigged and that he and his supporters are being cheated out of a victory is meant to foster a grievance that he can leverage into a profitable, far right TV network — money.

Personally, I think it is far more than money. I see the Donald playing a political long game. His egotism has tasted political power, and he loves it. His rock-hard, eclectic following: the new poor, nationalists, misogynists and bigots — basically nondemocratic authoritarian personalities by nature — approach in total numbers around 38% of the American electorate.

Thus I believe his ultimate intension is to wreck the Republican Party and run off with its misfit base as a powerful third party, leaving a rump Republican Wall Street Party and the Democrats to split the remaining 62 of the vote in a national election. This would almost guarantee a victory for Trump’s third party.

And while Trump himself might be too old in 2020, it would appear that he is currently grooming Donald Trump, Jr. as his stand-in leader to win the presidency in the next national political cycle.
