Republicans Are Only Good As An Opposition Party For When The Ball Is In Their Court They Bungle Things Badly
Republicans have a kneejerk habit of saying how that anything that Democrats do is downright bad for the country — un-American — no matter how well thought out it may have been. The ACA, Obamacare, is a prime example. While the Republicans have spent years trying to sell the public on the need to repeal this piece of groundbreaking legislation because not only is it harmful to the healthcare system, it is, according to them, in a death spiral and needs to be replaced quickly, but the truth is just opposite.
Indeed, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are in a panic to get rid of the ACA before the facts are released by independent government agencies. Now doctors, hospitals and other experts are fighting back against this politically inspired nonsense that Republicans are trying to inflict upon the American public.
Sure Republican and President Trump’s attempts at sabotaging the ACA are taking its toll on the program, but it nevertheless remains viable. Thus the rush to replace it with a Republican “plan.” Yet there is a growing concern among the more responsible and thoughtful of Republicans that they are headed into a buzz saw of trouble with this political con job.
Republicans are experiencing a rapidly increasing blizzard of facts contray to the lies and half truths that they are promoting about the wonderous improvements that their replacement plan for the ACA will bring to the people. When, however, people’s lives are on the line they tends bore into the details. And thus there is a growing feeling that this Republican healthcare charade will not stand.
