Republicans Feared Trump Would Reveal That The GOP Had Become a Criminal Enterprise — Bingo!

Washington insiders knew that Russian money had been pouring into GOP coffers for years. And knowing Trump’s reputation for being a lose cannon; even the slightest chance that he might be elected president was terrifying. Therefore the powers to be among the Republican establishment went into “never Trump” overdrive as soon as he threatened to become the Party’s standard-bearer.

Apparently the party establishment hadn’t noticed that years of dog whistling the lower political order meant that they no longer controlled the party. They had inadvertently, but it should have been predictable, greased the skids for the party to fall into much cruder hands — Donald Trump’s hands.

It being highly illegal for feigners to finance American politics, the GOP was skating on thin ice. Yet, not only had money poured into the campaigns of Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and other Republican big deals, but former party luminaries like Trent Lott and John Breaux were functioning as lobbyists for giant Russian firms like Gazprombank, companies that had fallen into the hands of what in effect was the Russian mob — the de facto Russian government.

In other words right wing organizations like the NRA, along with the entire Republican Party, were up to their necks in dirty Russian money. And then to top that off, the Russians, fearing a Clinton presidency, decided to back Trump with craftily placed social media articles designed to work on Trump’s behalf, and then hacked DNC e-mails were dribbled out to the public in devastating fashion going into the 2016 election.

Well, as we all know, a perfect political storm ensued to deliver the presidency to the Donald. And thus as Republicans feared he would, the fumbling, bumbling Mr. Trump is currently leading investigators right into his and the GOP’s rats nest of Russian connections and dark money, despite all that Republicans can do to defect investigations, both in Congress and that headed by special council Robert Mueller.

As has been his way his entire life, all that the Donald touches continues to die. Indeed, by his own silly tweets and other stupid acts, Trump is in the process of taking down not only himself but the polluted party that he has so fittingly usurped as well. It is looking like the swamp is finally about to be drained of Republican snakes — Russian mob snakes.
