Republicans The Party Of Instant Gratification
It requires a refined intellect to see the big picture, the long view. This would not be the typical Republican. With Wall Street type Republicans it’s always the next quarter profits that count. When it comes to mining the earth for its riches, it’s a get it now mentality and the heck with polluting the air and rivers. That’s some body else’s problem. Oh, and all that talk of global warming nonsense just gets in the way of business, profits and our economy. Scientist what do they know? Have they ever run a business?
Every chance they get Republicans will cut open the goose that lays the golden eggs, eventually sending our economy over a cliff. All their basic economic principles reek of this infantile, instant gratification syndrome. For folks that are suppose to be so sophisticate they really act like emotional dingbats. Their intellectually unenhanced egos, like that so easily observable in young children, wants what it wants when it wants it. By hook or crook they gather all the coins unto themselves at the expense of the many.
Perhaps this is why President Trump is turning out to be the perfect Republican after all. He lacks the intellect and discipline required to get deep into issues. No doubt this is why he has no qualms about saying how easy it is to fix things and why fiasco and bankruptcy trail after him wherever he goes, because things are never as simple as he claims. “Obamacare will be so easy to fix.” Soon to be followed by, “Who knew Obamacare would be so complicated?”
And like children Republicans and their simplistic ideologies inevitable leave messes, which Democrats and other adults are left to clean up — the crash of 1929 and the following depression, the invasion of Iraq on false pretense, the housing debacle of 2008 and the following financial crisis. It would seem that there is nothing that these egocentric Republicans cannot screw up in pursuit of their instant gratification.
