Senator McConnell and the rest of the GOP establishment, while driving out moderate after moderate of their party, spent some 30 years fashioning a form of politics perfect for the likes of a sleazy Donald Trump to lead. So there should be no surprise that the Republican Senate majority leader continues to do the blocking for the bum in the White House.
