Senator Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III Is Trump’s Biggest Rebel Supporter — WOW!

They say that you can tell a man’s character by the company he keeps. So if Jeff Sessions, the cornpone Alabama Republican Senator, a man who barely skirts a racists outlook, is your strongest Southern supporter, it pretty much defines one as lacking integrity and judgment.

It is like Northern despotism marries Southern White trash. Sessions is telling fellow Republicans that if they know what’s good for them they had better line up behind Trump pronto. It sounds like Sessions is positioning himself to be Trump’s enforcer. Meaning that there is a good chance that good old boy Jeff aims to be the Donald’s VP.

What a dynamic populist duo these two clowns will make. But as Bill Maher keeps saying, Americans are dumb, so maybe there’s nothing funny about this Republican combo. They could take over the country — really not very funny.

So what is behind this potential horror show? Perhaps it is that technology is changing the world so fast that large segments of the American population just can’t keep up, so the way they strike back against forces that they see as being beyond their control is to rally around folks like Trump and company who say that yesterday was great and I will make “your” America Great Again.
