Yes, without Paul taking the story of Christ outside of Judaism, eventually to be embraced by the Roman emperor Constantine and thus spread all about the western world by the most powerful political force on earth at that time, the religion of Jesus would have surely faded away along with dozens of other middle eastern dying God cults of that era.
