Some on the hard left will want to impeach, but I think cooler heads will prevail against that. The better strategy would be to use the House investigations in a way that frames Trump as a crook, a traitor and silly, so that he gets roundly defeated in 2020.

But if things should break to cause Trump’s followers to revolt, just how is this revolt going to take place? Is the Klan going to go on a race war rampage. Are the Neo Nazis going to attack government instillations? Even most angry Americans abhor physical violence.

Yes, I can see a lot of random violence, but to focus it in any meaningful way as to overthrow what domestic kooks call the deep state is going to be very difficult. Usually in this particular situation that America finds itself today, the most violent elements within such a potential revolt would end up fighting each other.
